The course involves completing 5 adventure dives, two mandatory, (Deep & Navigation) and then 3 optional dives from the list below:

  • Aware – Fish Identification
  • Boat Diving
  • Deep Diving
  • Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV)
  • Drift Diving

Each adventure dive can be credited to any of the corresponding speciality diver programs, example : Wreck Diver Speciality needs 4 dives to complete the course, if you chose wreck as one of your adventure dives and then go on to do the speciality, you would only need to complete 3 dives to achieve certification.

This is where your adventure really begins, there is no academic classroom work to complete, just some independent study and then we go adventure diving!

Our Advanced Open Water Courses are conducted at Leybourne Lakes, Stoney Cove and Costal dive sites. We also run this course on our dive trips around the UK and trips abroad.

This course can be completed over 2 Days or several depending on which adventure dive you select; as our training schedule is flexible we can conduct these dives weekends, weekdays or evenings.

This course, like all our courses will be run by our Highly Experienced Instructors, who will make sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience on each dive.

Once you have completed this exciting course you will be awarded the Advanced Open Water certification, which will allow you to dive to 30 metres (Junior Advanced Open Water Divers will be 21 metres)

How can I continue my adventure?

Once you have completed your PADI Advanced Open Water you can continue to try more Adventure Dives before you consider doing a speciality in that program, these can be arranged and completed at £40 per dive.

You can also begin your Rescue Diver Course, where we will teach you diving rescue skills, this is a very rewarding course for both students and staff.

There are also several Speciality Courses to choose from whether you like Wreck diving or Underwater Photography!
