Our Classroom
Scuba in the Weald has its own classroom teaching facilities at Cranbrook in Kent and at Claremont School near Bodiam in East Sussex. Both locations have easy access from the A229 & A21 and border both Kent and East Sussex areas. Our classroom teaching facility at Bodiam is based at the same location as our private heated indoor pool. This avoids unnecessary travelling between different locations, which creates a more relaxed environment to learn and have fun during your course!

Private Pool
Scuba in the Weald’s private heated indoor pool is based at Claremont School, near Bodiam. The pool location borders both Kent & East Sussex areas, and has easy access from the A21 & A229. We offer Discover Scuba (Try dives) PADI Open Water Diver courses, PADI Scuba Reviews, PADI Professional level training during our pool training sessions or  you can just come along for a bubble! Pool sessions are a great way to keep your skills fresh, before going diving in open water or on holiday!


Leybourne Lakes, Scuba in the Weald's, Open Water Scuba Diving Training Site

Leybourne Lakes
Located near Larkfield just 1.2 miles from the M20 junction 4. The lake has a maximum depth of 8.5 metres, and is a purpose built, dedicated dive training site. The entire dive training area is ‘roped off’ and consists of several solid platforms for training purposes.  This is one of our main open water training locations to complete the PADI Open Water Diver Coursethroughout the year!


Stoney Cove, Scuba in the Weald's Open Water Scuba Diving Training Site

Stoney Cove
A dedicated inland dive site situated in the county of Leicestershire. The Cove is based on a disused quarry and has 3 diving levels, ranging from 6 metres for novice divers, 22 metres for intermediate divers and 36 metres for Deep qualified divers. When all quarrying ceased, spring water was allowed to flood the quarry workings, Five years later, the flooded quarry had already become popular with local pioneers of diving and water skiing. Hence Stoney Cove was born. Stoney Cove has many underwater attractions for all divers. The Stanegarth, the U.K.’s largest inland ship wreck, and the Nautilus submarine have both provided major attractions. Scuba in the Weald use this diver training site for the PADI Advanced Open water Diver, PADI Wreck Diver, PADI Deep Diver, PADI Drysuit Diver, PADI Enriched Air Diver, PADI SMB Diver and PADI Underwater Navigator Speciality Courses. Its a perfect location that meets PADI standards for safety and diver comfort, including everything you will need to have a great days diving!
